Deze plaat dateert toch al van 2016 en was me nog steeds niet opgevallen.
Maar dat maakt veel goeds bij deze plaat wat het openings- nummer bromt en pomp met autogeluiden en dan wordt het gaspedaal verder ingetrapt en wauw het knalt en dendert door de luidsprekers.

Lloyd Spiegel is nog net geen veertig jaar oud maar staat toch al meer dan vijfentwintig jaar op het podium.
Het toeval wil dat Lloyd als zesjarige kennis maakt met de Australische blues legende “Dutch” Tilders - zoon van een Nijmeegse immigrantenfamilie - wanneer deze een caravan bewoond in de achtertuin van de familie Spiegel. Via het slaapkamerraam komen de klanken van Dutch’ gitaar binnen bij een jonge Lloyd en maken zoveel indruk dat deze nog maar één ding wil: gitaar spelen.

The death of Tommy Dardar stunned the blues community and left a void that will never be filled. His 1999 release, "Fool for Love," served notice to the world what his family, friends, and fans had known for years: that Tommy was an extremely gifted songwriter, a powerful vocalist, and one of the finest harp players on the Gulf Coast.
With his untimely death, many feared that release would be his last. He had begun work on a follow-up project in 2001, but financial considerations and life have a funny way of showing up and putting the best laid plans on the back burner. His closest friends and musical cohorts were aware of these unfinished recordings and under-took the effort to see that they were not left on a shelf to gather dust.

De legendarische classic rock band Jethro Tull viert in 2018 hun 50 jarige jubileum. Nadat de eerder aangekondigde show in Koninklijk Theater Carré binnen 48 uur uitverkocht is vandaag bekendgemaakt dat de band een dag later een extra concert zal geven in concertzaal 013 Tilburg. Voor dit concert zijn zitplaatsen enkel beschikbaar, de kaartverkoop is per direct gestart. Smullen voor liefhebbers van deze rocktitanen want deze avond worden, ondersteund met video-visuals, de grootste successen van Jethro Tull gespeeld; pareltjes uit zowel vroege jaren als latere perioden van deze invloedrijke progressieve rockers.
